The Savinka Waterfall

The 29 m Savinka Waterfall is situated at the beginning of one of the Ajba subsidiary streams.

The Savinka Waterfall is a 29-metre-high waterfall at an altitude of 486 metres.  The waterfall is located at the beginning of one of the tributaries of the Ajba. The water falls through a limestone step into a small pool. The unstable waterfall, which runs along the road between Ročinj and Kambreški, has been classified by the Institute for the Protection of Natural and Cultural Heritage of Nova Gorica as a major hydrological heritage site.
